Who using it? Love it or hate it?
Been developing with x-cart for years now, considering moving to a new cart.We run shops from 10 products to 2000 products and need something we can develop with for long term. I run 1 site with it, and no problems, but it's small with little traffic.
I've been hearing gumblings that it's going to shit since the eBay takeover, anyone have any knowledge of this?
Thx.

My shop uses Magento for many projects...I guess you hate it until you finally figure out how it works. For small stores it is a bit overkill. Haven't noticed the eBay purchase change anything. I could go on about the things that piss me off in it, but then again it also does a lot for you. Anything more specific?

OK, so have a client who needs his site done n Magento. What are the best Magento theme providers out there? I'm looking for something "fashion" but the themes I've found are... lame. Thanks for the help!

I'm working on 4-5 Magento project currently. I do not like it.
- been there, be strong...and remember that it is always Magento's fault.BabySnakes

Magento is a pain in the arse, I would avoid it at all costs! It's difficult for developers to use, difficult for clients to use, slow and has loads of features that don't work properly! We're looking into this for our nect project http://www.silvercart.org/

- ETM, do you work for Shopify?rocketrichard

I've only had experience with Pinnacle Cart but the dashboard was robust enough for the clients needs and it was also relatively painless to create a new theme from scratch (smarty templating).

Another vote for Shopify.

Another vote for LemonStand. Super flexible.

Anyone here know a good backend Magento 2 dev. I am in need of some support with Data Migrating Magento 1 over to Magento 2.
Thought i could do it but it is taking me longer than i planned. I could figure it out i just hate dealing with databases and command line.
