The worst thing is it doesn't reproduce well at small sizes. The beak gets totally lost.

How many people here actually Tweet on a daily basis, and if so, about what exactly?
- Yeah. I finally jumped on twitter like 6 months ago... it steadily went from excitement to wasteland in about 2 weeks.d_rek

Sticking a bunch of circles over your logo doesn't make it cleverer or make it seem like any more thought went into it. See this shit on dribbble way too often.
Like the new twitter logo though, thought the old bird was fat and twee
- Totally Agree. My fav is when they do the circles and it ends up being obvious they added them after the fact.

It beats the hell out of Gap and JC Penny.

Also, the old twitter was slow, and the servers often failed. This denotes their quicker and more responsive service, as well as being mature.

The point of the circles is to show the curves aren't arbitrary – the logo can be recreated using circles of X/Y/Z diameter. There was a time before scalable vector files, when iterations of logos had to be rendered by hand or recreated from the brand standards manual.

Who did this?
- instrmntl0
Their image server/backend is utter shit still.

I notice they don't provide EPS versions for anyone using slightly older version of CS. Questionable move.
- just trace it. it would take literally 45 seconds to create an accurate version.CanHasQBN
- I did, don't worry.i_monk
- i am worried.CanHasQBN
- It's all going to be OK.i_monk
- Is it?CanHasQBN
- Yes, as long as we have hope.i_monk
- When you say literally, do you mean exactly 45 because it could take more or lessukit2
