Lat year it was £1000, now it's £650, but it's a year later. The X10, G1X, GX1 are all out now but I'm still drawn towards the X100 and for £650 it seems an ok deal.
I don't want an interchangeable lens camera, the Canon is H U G E. X10 looks good too - what are your thoughts?

x100 is great but

Great thing about x100 is that it uses APS-C similar to Canon 60D etc.
X10 uses much smaller.

Snapsort is a huge pile of shite I think

were there no aperture blade problems with the X100?
- craigatkinson0
yes but I think it's few and far between, there are problems with everything

if you dont care about interchangeable lenses, x100 is the best digi out there in that realm. hands down. And fuji keeps updating the firmware with vast improvements. I've been shooting my whole life and the x100 is by far one of my fav cameras. if you have any specific Q's about the camera, I'd be happy to answer.

hi again craig! We can't keep away from the camera banter can we!
the x100 does produce stunning pics, fuji colours are gorgeous. A QBNer has one if i remember rightly (and had some v nice pics). You say the canon is huge but i i remember the x100 being v chunky when i had a go with it, I would actually say the G1X is smaller (but possible taller). I also didn't like the feel of the x100, have you had a go with it? its built like a tank, but just didn't feel right in my hands.
I'm still a fan of the X10, but the norotious orb issue (caused by highlights) makes it a no go for me.
I'd love a G1X, it looks ace, high iso is great, decent enough lens, just not very compact (but neither are the others really).

Hi Hombre - yep, camera talk again!
Yes you're right size-wise they're similar and I did have a play with the X100 the day it was released and remember thinking that was huge too but recently find it ok.. I should have a proper go of the G1X I suppose [canon not Lumix]. Just the out of camera images from the Fuji and the slow zoom and aperture of the Canon that sway me so far.
