Whenever I import a .pdf into Illustrator, all the type is divided into each word, or by line.
Is there any way to export a PDF from Indesign so that it will preserve the whole box?

Not sure but I know there are illy scripts that will rejoin the text threads and turn it into area type again.

I'm trying to convert an Indesign file to Photoshop for a client. I want it to be easy to edit copy for them.
- Perhaps PDF to Illustrator, use text plugins, then export PSD will get you the closest.sausages

Indesign to PDF to Illustrator/export to PSD is what I was thinking.

"I want it to be easy to edit copy for them"
that would be in indesign then.
IF THE CLIENT WANT TO BE ABLE TO EDIT THE SHIT. THEY NEED TO HAVE INDESIGN. OR THEY WILL USE YOU. THAT'S IT.
CAPS off.

Rebuild it in PS, copy and paste the text from ID into text boxes there.

Any other suggestions? I wish my client had InDesign, but this is a free project for a non profit.
- non profits can get a good deal on licenses. they should have it if they need it. sounds like they do.ohhhhhsnap
