anyone exported a OBJ file from C4D to use with form in AE?

I found the problem:
I usually install all my AE version in a special folder called "Video" (Applications/Video).
The installer of yours assumes, that AE should be located only at the "Applications" folder... So because it hasn't found AE at the expected place, it created a new folder series inside Applications: "Adobe After Effects CS5/Plug-ins/Format/Trapcode/Tra...I simply put all the necessary files now at the right place and it works.

P.S.: Maybe it's wise to put AE back just inside the Applications folder...?!

Glad you found the solution. This is what I did. In C4D File > Export (either .obj or .3ds). The open in Photoshop. 3ds is much better. It's quicker and the lighting isn't screwey like the .obj file. Then open the psd in After Effects.
