Android App Design

  I have done a couple of iOS apps now, but never a Droid-only app. What are the best practices for designing to these 1000 different screen sizes for a native app?

  A little helpful, but I'm more interested in best practices for designing to Android's large array of variable screen sizes. That thread appears to be couched more in development resources.
