What's a good text editor (can handle RTF ideally)? Jota+ comes up as the highest rated as far as I can tell, anyone using it?

I haven't used Kies (Samsung) too much, but it's pretty cool how you can organize stuff on your phone through a browser window.

I went back to iphone. The one thing that would have kept me would have been an itunes equivalent. Spent so much time that I didn't have trying to sync podcasts, music etc I just gave up!

for the record, isyncr wifi is very straight forward for syncing itunes lists

I never thought I'd say it but this xperia z makes the iPhone obsolete. In comparison the iPhone screen is tiny and iOS seems very dated and restricted.
- Wow, and you were loving your iPhone! Android has really caught up now. Enjoy your new toy!Hombre_Lobo

After owning an Android device for 2 years I can honestly say I fucking hate this thing, but not because the OS is bad. No, it's these things which make me never want an Android device again:
- Shitty manufacturer support for firmware and device updates.
- (Mostly) Craptacular app selection.
- It's basically a miniature PC... which means that it's made with all of the cheap hardware, drivers, and poor QA that most mass-marketed PC's are made of.
- Rooting it didn't make it any better, just allowed me to update the firmware at will.. but that introduced it's own slew of problems.- so, which apps do you recommend for Craig?monospaced
- read other posts before trying to make a snarky commentd_rek
- oh, my bad, and I wasn't being snarky! did it ever cross any of your fucking minds that I'm actually curious!?monospaced

What about in terms of face time / video call to iphone users?

To be honest I really like AndroidOS. No issue there.. it's just the terrible support for devices from the manufacturers which makes it hard for me to want to invest in an Android device again.
- serious question: won't your carrier help with handset problems on behalf of the manufacturer?monospaced
- d_rek0
@monospaced
Talking to Sprint for hardware/device support is like asking the guy who mows your lawn if he knows how to fix your car. Besides, the best they can do is go "Here's the latest firmware for your device."
The problem isn't the carrier - it's the manufacturers: HTC, Samsung, etc. Because they pump out so many Android devices on a regular basis devices that are sometimes only 6 months old stop receiving any sort of regular updates/support. Sprint can't really tell HTC "hey you need to support a device for one of our customers that is 2 years old".
Really at the point Sprint is just going to try and get you to sign another 2-year contract and upgrade your device.
- awe, that sucksmonospaced
- support for a phone? wow. never had any problems with android. what on earth are you trying to do?fadein11

Maybe you're holding it wrong.

@craigatkinson
Google music syncs your itunes collection with your android device...
Easy as piss.
- yes, by uploading to the web and downloading again so needing connection and timecraigatkinson
- Well true. Not a problem for me. I always have connection and it just syncs in the background while I workset
- its a one way sync too I think?craigatkinson
