“She’s the best liar I’ve ever met,” said Brendan Chellis, a member of the World Trade Center Survivors’ Network (WTCSN), after learning that Tania Head—aka Alicia Esteve Head—was a fraud. In the spring of 2003, Head introduced herself to the fledging 9/11 online support group, and captivated members with an unlikely survival story. She claimed to have narrowly escaped with her life from the seventy-eighth floor of the south tower, and also recalled an extended hospital stay, during which time doctors treated her burns and reattached her severed arm. In addition, she claimed to have lost her fiancé, Dave, when the north tower collapsed, and brought other survivors to tears with remembrances of the man she held out as the love of her life.

Billboards in Chicago paid for by The Heartland Institute point out that some of the world’s most notorious criminals say they “still believe in global warming” – and ask viewers if they do, too.
The billboard series features Ted Kaczynski, Charles Manson, and Fidel Castro. Other global warming alarmists who may appear on future billboards include Osama bin Laden and James J. Lee.

John Travolta has been sued by a masseur, who claims the actor tried to have sex with him during a session.

Obama backs gay marriage.
I wandered over to Fox, and was disgusted by their hateful comments (though not surprised). Conservatives are such a low-intellect breed of people. They really are. These are the same people who didn't want to give blacks equal rights, who didn't want blacks them to vote, who didn't want women to vote. How can they not see, that historically, they have been wrong on every social issue? They hate progress with a passion. I cannot fathom what it must be like being a part of this backward-thinking group... all the while they go to church and claim moral superiority over everyone else. They achieve nothing for the betterment of humankind, yet continuously drag us down. It's like trying to run a marathon with a ball and chain strapped to your ankle.
