I got mine a while back (2 of em) but haven't done much with it yet. XBMC on Wheezy is not that great and I've not been able to find a build of RaspBMC yet, but I'm giving it a go this weekend.

Chossy! I didn't see you'd bought one - I wanna know what you've done with it!
.
Finally got around to ordering mine now - should've done it ages ago.
12 bloody weeks I'll have to wait :(

You're like the nth person I've met who's going that route when they get their Pi, orrinward - I have loftier, nobler intentions...
...which will never be fulfilled as I too end up using it for delivering media, no doubt! :)

I received my 'nearly ready' email telling me I'll be able to place my order within the next few weeks the other day.
After getting burgled recently and having my media center PC nicked with all my backups, I intend on just sellotaping this to the back of a nice new tv for my new place and loading it with XBMC, playing off my NAS which will be in a nice hidden place in the new house.

are there any better alternatives than cotton candy? my old credit card sized computer with 50Mhz doesn't work anymore.

Looks very cool for installation video artwork or something. I have an idea I'd love to explore. Wish I had the time :p

That really good, great for developing countries, it really could do with a small hard drive, and 1 ram slot, and your away.

"not really the point of the project is it?"
It exactly is a point of the project.
- no its not - its to enable people with limited access to learn to code. oh and check ya grammar dudefadein11
- Raspberry Pi was created by the engineers who built the core chip at Broadcomm. So... yeah, this was their plan.brandon_phillip

I was impressed by this, reminds me of the old days with the Spectrum and Commodore.
