Will you be releasing a Trollololl app for it?

WipEout 248, Uncharted, Gravity Rush and Soundscapes. That should keep things entertaining for a while...

Having an iPhone I personally find useless to buy a handheld console these days.

Apples and oranges. The depth and experience of games on something like a Vita are simply not comparable. I have little interest in mobile gaming period, but can see this easily.

i suppose i'm on the other side of the fence, while i agree a psp-like device is questionable given the other options out there with phones and tablets, the fact is those other devices just aren't cutting the mustard yet, sorry. except for some well-conceived swipe-controlled games like angry birds i've found many to have either poorly thought out controls or are just plain clunky. this is such a disappointment sometimes because some of the games i've d/l'd have so much potential and the clunky controls kills the experience for me, like right out of the gate.
however, an example of brilliant controls on ios would be lego harry potter for ipad - sadly it seems many game devs could care less about such ux enhancements.
and forget about controls, i personally want to see the power of a ps3 crammed into a portable device. some of the demos i've seen, particularly street fighter, gravity rush, dynasty warriors, and marvel x capcom are pretty freakin' amazing. there'll be more great ones to come i'm sure - all perfectly crafted for the device which makes for a pleasing experience.
so am i going to buy one? maybe, eventually... do i need one? hell no.

The real question is should I download games or buy the cartridges.
It's resale value vs. convenience.

demoed it at future shop today, played the gravity rush demo, was very impressed - beautiful little game. well i guess i knew it was going to be good as it was preceded by a 'causes seizures' warning. err, i'd buy the carts personally, they're super cute too... and cute matters.
- Im gonna take this approach. Games I plan on selling after I play Ill buy the cartridge. games I plan on playing alot of i.e. Lumines. Ill download so I dont have to search for the cartridge later.err

i got given a 3ds and it's fucking A+, wish I had more time to actually play the thing. ps vita am sure is pretty damn sweet as well. Playing games on your fucking phone is nothing to a real deal console game. It's like TV vs Cinema.

Been thinking about buying this thing for couple of weeks now and finally I made my choice .. went out and got me one. Bought Wipeout 2048 and Uncharted game.
I was always talking about how iPhone and iPad will take over the market with it's gaming capability, and it will, but for those small games like Angry Birds and shit like that.. I love playing those games too but I don't really feel it because iPad is bulky and more for browsing, emailing, writing, reading and so on.. and iPhone is.. well, for talking and messaging and emailing on the road..
But.. if you are craving for a real game experience with a console that fits in your hand as it should, graphics that are really impressive and games that you actually want to play and finish.. PSV is the answer... well, answer for me at least.
I can easily say (after playing it for couple of days) I love it and will take it with me often for times when I have extra hour or two to kill. Wipeout is awesome, been a fan of the series for a long time and Uncharted just made me think I should buy the PS3 version and play that one too.

I'd love to have one if I were 12 years old.
