    There are many words that describe this... like, life happens haphazardly. But as a complete belief system that revolves around "chance". Hmmm, got me stumped on that one.

    Destiny would be that the man drives the car to the edge of the cliff.
    Fate would be the passenger in the car that is driven to the edge of the cliff.

    I think that if someone believes in "chance" then they don't believe in freewill, which is pretty damn hard to explain because it won't make sense.

    Good things happen to bad people, and vice versa, that's more about luck and fate.

    Most people have their destiny until fate causes an accident, no?
