We all know why people are hating: they can't handle the drop
- lolApeRobot
- they can't handle someone younger than them or outside their subcultural comfort zone being more talentedscarabin
- http://chzjustcapshu…ApeRobot
- it's understandable but one should realize when they're doing it. fact is this kid has put in more hours honing his craft than many people herescarabin
- many people herescarabin
- Effort? I can produce what Skrillex does by eating a bag of prunes and waiting a couple of hours.MrT
- no you fucking can't.scarabin
- not exactly, but it's still shit.MrT

- btw i'm not commenting on any QBNer's work, just pointing out that people seem to get hostile about people like this because they feel threatened somehowscarabin
- feel threatened somehowscarabin
- fact is he's a talented young dude and the much of world has noticed. the guy is more legit than many of the musical acts out there right nowscarabin

i suppose, the difference between aphex and skrillex is the internet.
- minus the IP address you first thought of. Divided by an optimized jpeg, and an embed tag, on an XHTML 2.0 page.mikotondria3

Scarabin, what an ignorant and transparent thing to say. As if luck and marketing have nothing to do with it. Don't you work in advertising?
- inteliboy0
I get the feeling scarabin is trolling...
One may like skrillex a shit ton more than afx... though to say he's more talented is absurd.

For me, personally, I get annoyed because Skrillex doesn't even really produce dubstep. It's more pop, and/or electro-house, more than anything. His work doesn't sound anything remotely dub-like at all.
This is dubstep:
- but a lot of his fans insist that he's dubstep. That's where my frustration comes in.twooh
- most of what's called dubstep isn't literally dubstepscarabin
- literal dubstep ended years agoscarabin
- it is all technoutopian
- pretty horrible trackutopian
- i just vomited in my mouthutopian
- your face made me vomit in my mouth.twooh

Scarabin,
My only gripe with the guy is the fact that everyone calls him talented, and that his live shows are amazing. Amazing to me, isn't when someone twitches knobs of prerecorded material synced to a perfect beat at a live show. Amazingly talented is doing this live without utilizing prerecorded material, with higher risk of a fuckup or DJ's who use prerecorded material to create something new during a show.. I guess this is where my definitions are different than yours. For example, I think Daft Punk is way more talented and risk-taking than this kid, and they won only 1 Grammy, while this kid one 3 in one year.
Is this kid really that talented that you have to go and say something like, "they can't handle someone younger than them or outside their subcultural comfort zone being more talented"?

I couldn't care less about skrillex music, but reading this from the previous page... wtf??
- it's both funny and very sad to realize some people base all their behavior and advice upon such amount of BS mixed with religiondyspl

apple redesigned their logo!

Scrillex is to dubstep what blink 182 is to harcore punk.
Despite that, the guy seems actually very cool, and obviously has a broad and diverse taste in music.
- "blink 182 is to harcore punk." Wait , what? "Softcore teenage pop" you mean?ApeRobot
- What i mean is, Skrillex is the MTV version of dubstep. That analogy maybe wasn't that well crafted ;)jagara
- That analogy was well crafted but just misunderstood. This is QBN, you usually have to spell things out.ORAZAL
