For me it's got to be James Blake, all round (Lindesfarne I & II being my favourite track off that album). (Though I know technically it was released last year...)
Second most listened to is Radiohead's King Of Limbs album.
I've been lazy this year with seeking out new music... what was your best of the year?

james blake is making some amazing stuff, def a fav for me. lana del rey's video games is fav one-off track. other crap as well like the new orb which is wicked.

Well, for once the Mercury Prize got it right this year:
although Anna Calvi was a very close second imho:
I thought the Tennis album was greatly underrated (yes, a lot of girl/guy duo's went on this year; but I thought these two were exceptional)
Just got back from seeing these chaps and '48 Roses' was a fantastic single, plus they're superb live:
It's been a shitty year for a lot of things in the world, but we've had a diamond year, music-wise.
