Any good resources for finding older illustrations/woodcut/diagrams that are in public domain or free to use?

Hate to sound picky, but those seem pretty bad/cheesy. I am looking for more authentic stuff of higher quality, such as this from the New York Public Library:
- that's a woodcut? oh man I've got a lot to learnProjectile
- oh- just an example of quality. (as in me being a quality idiot)Projectile

how about going to a second hand book store and sourcing some yourself. you'll be hard pressed to find something online. at least it will be 'original' and not so easily 'identifiable'...
