I was thinking about giving parkour a try sometime soon actually. I don't think I'd be any good at it for a while, but it seems like something you can very easily work up from "casual" to "intermediate" with the right type of practice. Anyone have any success with this hipstery pastime?

I just started this. At 38 years old and being completely out o shape, Jiu Jitsu is both painful and rewarding as all hell.

Had a friend who started JJ and within 2 months he was already signing up for a competition. Of course he broke his ankle, and had a cast for quite some time.
Don't be like my friend, it takes time and lots of practice.
