If I'm sending some photos to be printed at a place like Walgreens, do I keep them in CMYK? Or do I convert them to RGB for truest color?

You shouldnt be editing in cmyk if thats what youre saying. And yes i agree with vax, srgb for cheapo print spots.

if you go to walgreens / costco / target to print JPEG's, sRGB will most closely match the color profile of their equipment. If your files are Adobe RGB, the color will be off, sickly skin tones, cyan highlights,etc...
