when you live forever do you stay the same age as you are now or do you still degrade as we do know? i wouldn't want the latter. can you imagine out living everyone else and you're horny as fuck but your junk is already curled up and not able to rub one out.

it would change everything..... I'd consider doing things with no risk of running out of time..... the need to "prioritize" could dissapear in a way.... so riskier things would be worth trying, because that means you don't have to worry about a limited number of choices.

I would definitely live forever if it was possible and if I were not aging the whole time. Like lifeinvector said, I would probably learn everything and explore every career I ever dreamed of, reinventing myself every couple of generations, or even more often than that.

I think living forever when everybody else dies will make you really fucking sad person.
And it is not truth you would stop worrying about time. On the oposite you will be more concerned about it as you will see how it runs out in other peoples' lives.
Making new friends again every other 85 years, if you have family wathing your parents, partners, kids and grandkids die...
O well, on the other hand you could entertain yourself speaking any fucking language on earth and you could be jerking off non stop for a year or 20 if you so want.
- Making friends again after 85 years? Many people switch out all their friends every 10 years or so anyway.CanHasQBN

do we change at all physically... i.e., if i go 40 years on a diet of nothing by snickers bars, do i collect diabetes and have it follow me for the rest of forever or until a cure is found? and what about scars - i've got quite a few in less then 30 years, i'd imagine that after 300 years or so, i'd start looking pretty bad...

Read my post above, they are about to create a society of proles
http://time.com/3007430/carlos-s…Carlos Slim, the world’s second-richest man finally said the one thing we’ve all been waiting for a self-made billionaire to say: work less. Way less.
At a business conference in Paraguay, the telecommunications magnate said it was time for a “radical overhaul” in the way people work, the Financial Times reports: people should only work three days a week.
“With three work days a week, we would have more time to relax; for quality of life,” Slim said. “Having four days [off] would be very important to generate new entertainment activities and other ways of being occupied.”
Well-said, Mr. Slim. Well-said.
But there’s a catch: in exchange for working fewer days a week, we should work for more of our lives. Instead of retiring at 50 or 60, workers should work until the age of 70 or 75, the 74-year-old Slim said.
- People already are working into their 70s because rich assholes stole their pensions.i_monk
