Send me your portfolio... if I hear of anything I'll let you know.
PS. yes, I will be in Melbourne in December.

And of course, if you are over there, and have a spare time for a beer, give me a shout!

Where in Australia would you like to try?
I'm sure with your skills there is a role out here for you. It's getting to the quiet time of year though, so hiring will slow down for the next couple of months.
I suggest researching where you'd like to work and getting your name out there.

Hey Amicus, cheers man! I am filling the details right now at theloop.com.au :)
I was thinking of Syd and Melbourne initially. I lived in Sydney before so maybe I would prefer there initially... but it all comes down to.. hows the market in both cities you know?Do you have any recommendation?

All depends on what you are into lifestyle-wise. If you are into sports, music or the arts I'd say Melbourne has the edge.

I been hearing that quite a lot actually. Plus the temperature in Melbourne is also helpful isnt it? I remember in Sydney one day... was around 43º!!! And i did the stupid thing of getting on the CityRail... I almost boiled alive before reaching to Town Hall.

Does anybody know any other good website for job searching in Australia?

Thank you Ali :)
I tried using Seek once, but they are very restricted towards freelancer people.. they dont even pass the info (the job agencies that use it mostly) for the companies if the person doesnt have work permission (which is my case)

If you come to Brisbane let us know, we have quite a lively qbn following up here :)

Hey Toki, im definitely coming to Brisbane! But maybe next year, in january. I lived in Australia in 2002, and I've only been to Sydney and Melbourne :(

If you like warm weather and a bit more laid back lifestyle, Brisbane is good! Unfortunately there's not a lot of work going around...unless you are in mining or a connected industry to it. They pay ridiculous amounts even for unskilled labour & there's a labour shortage as well, so they are paying even more to lure people..!

Oh Toki, please, send me links hehe :)
Im a bit desperate :) Last time i tried to find a job in Australia in my field, I ended up working as a nurse assistant in Sydney!!...
ok, it was 10 years ago and I didnt have much experience back then...but I will definitely check Brissy out!
