Hi y'all,
Just thought before I shell out on a case, I'd check with QBN. Has anyone here had any issues with buying cases for the iPhone 4S? I'm looking at buying a Gear4 Band but am worried it won't fit due to the slight move of the vibrate switch.
Here it is...

why not goto a store that has a wall full of cases and decide at the store what suits you best. asking online on a new product that i would say most people wont purchase as they might own a iPhone 4 already.
the amount of choice for this one product is insane but really it is just colour as the molds are relatively the same with slight texture differences.
you yourself are the only one who can decide what you like, as you are the one holding your device.
if you drop your phone there isnt any case that will protect it fully. if you dont have the gme to go and check the stores yourself, dont complain that you are here for advice when you can easily walk to any store and see the new products yourself.

From my experience you can't try the cases on instore, and the places I've been to (Carphone warehouse, PC World, Orange, 3, Maplins, O2) all have a shite selection. So I've tried that.
Not asking for advice on which case to choose, asking if anyone's had any experience of buying a case for the 4S, specifically a case made for the iPhone 4.

if you are stating that the exterior specs of the 4S is different with different opening placements and button arrangement, why would anyone use a case that match its shape?
your question about asking online advice about something i doubt anyone does.. by using different cases for the phone they have..
why would anyone purchase a case that doesnt fit their phone and then advise others to get that same mistake??

Should have stated in the original post about buying a 4 case for a 4S, my bad.
This is why I'm asking.
– Got a new phone.
– Need a case.
– Not many nice cases for 4S at the moment.
– In the meantime my phone is vulnerable to being dropped, gotta use it for 2 years so don't want it damaged.
– Loads of nice 4 cases.
– Only difference between the 4 and 4S is the vibrate switch has moved a few mm.
– Wondered if anyone had a 4 case on their 4S.Pretty straightforward really, and I don't think people using a case designed for the 4 on their 4S is too far fetched.

if you are searching for a molded case, and your hole openings do not match as you stated the vibrate switch is in a different position, then wait til product hits the stores in a few months as the case will not fit your phone, you would wasting money.. not a few millimeters on a PP or Rubberized case.. well cant you just cut out the new shape to fit??
