lol @ dipshit humans insinuating the people who had to kill the released animals enjoyed themselves. there isn't one article supporting your speculation... enjoy your internship at fox news if you plan on communicating with others like that

All animals now accounted for: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/…
Let's return to worrying about our fellow men and women.

From what I understand it was the middle of the night when they realized they had to capture/kill these animals. It came down to the fact that tranquilizing them would be more dangerous becasue they wouldn't be able to tell if the animal was out cold plus some would take more shoots not to mention those guns dont have great range or accuracy. I'm not defending them completely I still find this to be such a great tragedy and still feel the human race is a parasite on this planet but i can kinda understand the decision. It just sucks so much becasue seeing those tigers and knowing that their an endangered animal just breaks my heart. It wasn't their fault - fucking humans... I suck...

I am sure that in some instances the police did what they needed to do if they felt threatened. It's easy to call the whole thing a tragedy, but seriously - not defending them - that had to have been pretty crazy to all of a sudden have dozens of dangerous animals out in the wild that had been caged and cared for just out on their own. No idea how they'd react.
I can understand the concern for public safety, but wonder how quickly a "kill em' all" order came down. Apparently they did try to tranquilize some of them, but they still charged at them.

The news is saying that they think one of the big cats ate the monkey. Not sure how they got that info.

Ban the sale, ownership, and harboring of wild and exotic animals in Ohio (should be every where but let's start with one place).

"The U.S. Department of Agriculture had revoked his license to exhibit animals after animal-welfare activists campaigned for him to stop letting people wrestle with another one of his bears."

"he owned four tigers, a lion, eight bears and 12 wolves"

they had a little too much fun with that.
I wonder what led the animal keeper to free them and kill himself?
depression? hmm.

damn.. thats the whole animal kingdom in a nutshell.
couldn't they use tranquilizers or something?
did the animal population just drop a few percentage points?
- becomes a major liability, but I see what you're saying. Human error lead to that. :-(popfodders
