Be sure to attach a bunch of logo images in every email too, so that when I search for a file you sent me I have to dig through every email you ever sent me.

I've always thought these were stupid. First, I find it stupid that I could be held responsible just for having an email address, and you sending me something to it.
Second, if it's so important, then put it BEFORE anything sensitive that I might read—yup, put it right at the top of the email every time, just to be obnoxious.

Please think about the environment before printing this email.

I'm not sure how binding it would be.
The disclaimer at the bottom of my email state that, by receiving this email, you now owe me $1000.00 USD. I've yet to receive 1 check from this.

I'm pretty sure this disclaimer has no real standing as the communication to me, when in my possession is mine and i'm free to do whatever i feel like doing to it.

There's legal reasons for it.
Signatures and lighter font weights also work.

I got mine from a UK lawyer, it basically says: this is confidential to the intended recipient, if you are not the intended recipient then do not copy or publish, it also gives my phone no and URL

I hate them!
Luckily I don't have to. Soon we'll be putting a link to T's and C's, but I hate when someone sends me a brief email and I then have a full T's and C's listed at the bottom.

Does your company force you to put disclaimers at the bottom of your emails? are they useful? do i really need to explain that my email to you is to you and not to someone else? If my footer states "You may not present this email to another party without consent from the sender" Can i have you thrown in jail if you reply to me and CC your boss?
