why? imo unless you really need it, a part time job is just not worth it. I'd rather use that extra time to focus on your main job/side work/learning new things
- these jobs would sort of help get my mind out of all the REVISION happy clients work. A break from the norm.hiatus
- getting good paying freelance clients is a pain. I have enough to put some beer money/movie tix money in my pocket.hiatus
- understood, but maybe do stuff for yourself. like take the time to learn pshop or work on personal projectsgenfourth
- i find it rewarding to do stuff for yourself on free time instead of for other peoplegenfourth

I've been a taxi driver... long time ago in college, I loved it but didn't make that much money.... beware that dispatchers can make or break your profitablity, if they don't like you, you can get a whole lot of cheap clients going from one bar to annother that's 3 blocks away and they take a long time to get in and out of your cab and can't find their money....
If the dispatchers like you, you get lots of airport calls and convention calls....

actually this made me think of a pattern.....
If you have lots of revision happy clients in your design life, you may have lots of slow-to-pay and hard-to-please clients in another job, as it seems any businessperson has to learn the interesting skill of how to attract good clients and somehow plant the idea of satisfaction and fast payment in their minds....
a skill that's probably good to learn being a bartender or similar high-interaction gig....
