Hoping for leads from the few cinema 4d users we got here. I'm rendering a simple scene, which has a light behind a set of wooden "blinds", and a text object in front of the blinds. The blinds open, the shadows are cast from behind the text. Simple.
Sample render:
https://www.yousendit.com/downlo…Issue I'm having is with the shadows. Every frame, the shadows jump super noticeably. What is causing this? I've tried everything I can think of. Shadow depth, global illumination, ambient occlusion, all with the same results. The scene / geometry are super simple! Please help me make sense of this.

You'll need the super animation options in GI for any hope at good results with moving images using GI. Does this scene really need it ? Wouldn't think so. Got Anti Aliaising set for Animation ?

turn off GI, use soft shadows and increase your shadow map resolution to something high

hard to say with out looking at the actual scene. as a work around though try rendering one scene with lights, blinds and floor, and one scene with just lights, text, and floor. then combine in AE with a multiplier.

Area shadows are straight killing it, giving me what I need. Render times are up, but its the most accurate solution so far.
