Delaunay Triangulation is the galaxies/stars and black equilateral triangles of 2011.

Thanks orrinward, I will give it another try!

Tip number 1. Make all your points for the triangulation before you actually use the script, When you're done, select all your points and 'triangulate from selection' or whatever it is.
It is a memory hog as it calculates nearest neighbour from each node, and recalculates all of those gradients every time you click, even if they don't change. it's a great script but not the most efficient. I suspect Puckey's is nicer.

Next question. How can this be batch rendered for animation?

you can create structures like in the illustration with sketchup very easy.

I used to acheive a similar effect by creating a basic model in Cinema4D and applying the cel-shader to it. If I recall theres a way of setting it so that each face can only have one shade applied, rather than incremental shades.
The result however, is not vector, and although you can autotrace it, it's not amazing.
Someone else will suggest a better option I'm sure. Delaunay raster would do the trick if only the script were released.
- Removing the phong tag should make the polygons facetedanimatedgif

Ah, I didn't see it. I thought it was removed due to people stealing the script. Thanks!

any other links and or examples?

So I've installed everything, I have an image ready. Now, I need to trace the picture? How do I go about this?
