London Mac Repair

  Can anyone recommend a mac repair service in London?

  Is the Apple store service comparable to an independent repair shop? Quick on repairs and decent price? - I can't find any price list or ball park figures. Or are Apple simply shipping your mac to one of these authorised repair shops anyway?

  I spilt a full cup of black tea over my MacBook Pro. It wasn't switched on at the time - but being the stupid unibody design I wasn't able to quickly take the battery out. After leaving it to dry for 3 days it's not powering up. I suspect It'll need a whole new logic board.

  I did the same thing to my Macbook a few years ago, but as i was able to quickly remove the battery it was fine after a night in the airing cupboard.
