(it's 100 degrees in Brooklyn so what better to do than troll QBN!)
The app launcher is a major disappointment
So they load every CS5 uninstaller, every dinky utility app, chess, migration assistant and on into the launcher and I have to hide them on the last page in multiple folders because you can only put so many items in one folder.
Then to organize my 5-6 pages of apps, when I only want 1-2 pages of apps, I have to manually drag everything all over the place instead of a quick and efficient way.
I know apple likes to hold together paradigms. The install/uninstall mechanic for app store items is interesting, but it's simply overkill to force the idea. I buy a 99 cent print splitting app from the app store and I have to have it in the launcher or uninstall it? Epic fail.
I took 10-15 minutes to sort and organize everything and it's decent now, but kind of stupid to have literally 5 "hide" folders on the last page.
Anybody else urked by this? Or find a workaround that doesn't require an endless dive into command lines?
