i am working on designing a concept for college football and I have 2 questions.

    1. Do all college football have team flags, and are they important to the college football fan?

    2. Are there multiple colleges from the same state that would mean using the STATE flag more difficult?

    thanks in advance!

    1. Pennants? Not sure if they all have one, but it's likely. The big colleges for sure, but maybe not all of the small schools. Are they important? Not at all in my opinion.

    2. Yeah.

Answer to question1: Most teams, that I know of, have flags - it's usually in relation to their college/university's logo/brand.

Answer to question2: There are DEFINITELY more than one competitive university team per state. in fact, I think each state has atleast 2-3 district 1 college football teams. They usually make for rivalries...

For instance, I'm a huge Gators fan (University of Florida) - by that admission, it's my sworn duty to hate all fans/players/teams from Florida State University, University of Miami and University of South Florida.

However, what usually trumps state-wide rivalries are division rivalries. It's for this reason I will always hate the University of Georgia Bulldogs, The South Carolina Gamecocks (made worse by their coach and our history), and any other team in the SEC.

    • oh man! heated up rivalries. seems like the team flags is a safer bet. problem now for me is figuring out if versioning out every team flag that would make it to an on-air promotion is a wise thing to do.

      thanks again!

    • all team flags is efficient considering they might not all make it to on air promtionjayliquori

    • yeah - it will depend - ESPN, when they do their on-air bumps, usually just show the top 25 teams... Link here >identity
