I am in the final stages of putting a project on Kickstarter. I need some help with reward ideas.
I am working with my partners to create an ultimate iPad/iOS app for foodies. We are concentrating on local produce and markets, letting users know where there is a best place to find some of the freshest in season produce. App lists local organic markets, deals, and tips. We would also like to include unique recipes for healthy eating. Everything is build in house by our small team. We are currently in the design process. Most of the database is already complete. We need the funding for promotion marketing and development costs.

So all you need Kickstarter for is to tap it for marketing capital?
Like every other normal company out there?
See, this is the sort of thing I really don't think KS is for.
You've got a ‘track record’ in selling apps, you've done the work.. you just want to take advantage of a system designed to help aspiring creative realise their ideas to mitigate financial risk?
Why not use some of your vast stash of Trololol$ and put your money where your mouth is?

Just can't help but feel he'd probably lie about what the money would be use for (‘I'm a starving digital artist with a dream..!’), then come back here and start spamming links to his KS campaign on this place, then come back in a few months showing off about how much money's he's made.

Oh, to be fair—I misread one of your lines as “Everything is built in house by our small team”, inferring it was already completed.

sounds boring, can't I just find that shit using google?
and it'll be better curated to my locality because I doubt your small team can keep that information useful or remotely near the quality worth paying for.

That's why the app will be free.
