    Look, QBN owners/gods/leader types, here's how you do it:

    1) Gather up the wish list of the most reasonable requests from all of the threads like this one, and create a functional spec/document for the new version of QBN;

    2) You invite regulars who are IA/UI pros to do up wireframes, and the rest of QBN votes for their favourites;

    3) Repeat process for front-end design based on the wireframes;

    4) A group of both front-end and back-end developers now get together and code the new site from the winning wireframes and PSDs.

    5) Launch new QBN site that incorporates years of input from the community, and well as with a new team of mods; everyone is happy and (more or less) troll- and spam-free.

    So, what do you say, QBN?

    • Do we really need a new site?meffid
    • The design is a bit dated, and functionally it might be necessary to implement many of the requested features.Continuity
    • Think of it as pulling on a fresh, clean pair of boxers at the start of the day, and of how good that feels.Continuity
    • I don't wear any... but I see your point.meffid
    • I don't mind the design, some functionality could be added, vimeo etc.meffid

    • I guess my only worry would be that doing this would be like waiting for a Valve game to get released. We'd need to stay focussed.Continuity
    • ... focused, and not drag our heels, as much as possible.Continuity
    • Past experience on the QBN book and sketchbook says... it would be worse than Valve.meffid
    • Fuck it, I'd still be up for it.Continuity
    • Also, it would give a chance to do a mobile/touch-friendl... site at the same time.Continuity

    • +1 (I still like the design)
      Fuck valve, long live vulva!...
