So I am attempting to make some pixel art using an isometric cube as a guide in illustrator and I've noticed an odd effect illustrator has when I try to map a panel I've drawn up. It seems like all the lines of the individual pixels skew at slightly different angles in relation to each other. See:
What gives? This also happens when I try to map in the panel to a perspective grid (CS5). Has anyone encountered this? How would you avoid this effect, or compensate for it?

The LOLcube cannot be vectorized.

Fixed it. If you are interested in the solution: I just used the 'divide' function in the pathfinder palette to make the shape singular but still maintain different pixel colors. Wooot.
