Is it possible to have the url change while you scroll down a page with ajax?

www.blablabla.com/blogscroll down...

definitely possible, but I'm not sure how to do it. My guess is some kind of .js function that fires on event, probably from reaching an anchor tag on the page or by counting pixels that have been scrolled.
not a .js dude, so beyond that I can't really help.

hrm.
Whilst I can't labour you with specifics, every fibre of my being says no.
At the very least, in moral terms.

but it is possible to mask a url... I've had to do this with webtrends ugly urls... why would it not be ok to change the url from
www.homepage.com/blog/#blogentry…...
to
www.homepage.com/blog/blogentryt…...

solution: put the whole shit in an iframe.
- erm... maybe not... do you want the permalink address to the current visbile blog post in the address bar?monNom
- yep... thats the point
EPtype - short answer - no.
If you could that would quickly get stomped due to phishing exploits.monNom - you'll have to get clever with a hash tag or search string.
