HTML question for you all, I have a simple newsletter form, so just the email field and a submit, what I would like to do is to send this data to a larger subscriber form, so one that has name, email (with the email allready filled in), list to subscribe to etc.
Can this be done?

how are you looking to deliver the newsletter? Through a delivery service like mail chimp/campaign monitor? These services already subscriber sign-up facilities that provide the necessary form code.

Yes, I am using campaign monitor, my design has one input field (just the email), the client would now like to hace additional fields, such as name, newsletter to subscribe to etc... so, an easy way round this I thought would be to keep just the email input as part of the overall design, when the user then adds their email addy and clicks submit, they are taken to a dedicated signup page with the additional input fields (emaily addy already filled in).
Does that make sense?

My developer is still asleep so I can't get you a direct answer right now, but logon on to your account and send CM an email, they are quite quick to respond.

Just a question - if you've already got the user's email, why are you asking them to input it? You should be able to auto populate the field with a value. I'm not that familiar with Campaign Monitor or the likes, but I'll bet you can do that.
Are you looking to submit the simple form to something that ties into Campaign Monitor, or to like a PHP script hosted on your own site?

Hi fugged,
You may have misunderstood, I basically just need to have a form that submit data (just the email) from the simply form they filled in and pass this to a larger form, I don't have their email as such, they just entered it in a previous form, so need to send this to the larger form.
