Just got a Samsung Galaxy SII and I'm new to the world of Android.
Can anybody recommend any nice must have apps for the creative professional?

They have, hands-down, the best app store(s) on the planet, and it doesn't suck juicy **** like Apple's either. You should find waaay more quality apps there than anywhere. I hear they even have Angry Birds.
- Netflix app on Android is supposed to be THE SHIT!monospaced
- You ever actually used anything but an iPhone/iTunes or are you talking out your ass?ETM
- of course I have, I wouldn't say something like this without knowing all about it like some arrogant assholes do around heremonospaced

I just made the switch from iPhone to Android too, I'm not mad on the built-in music app Google Play as it seems much more geared toward streaming. I listen to mp3/aacs stored on my phone.
Any recommends? I tried doubleTwist and Poweramp... nothing seems that great so far!
- i use vlc player.sted
- I have tried a ton of music apps for my library and found Pulsar+ to be my favourite.face_melter

I've used this live wallpaper for yonks... With a few tweaks there's no noticible battery drain and looks pretty smart

Pulsar (music player)
the best i've found that doesn't look like shit. There's an effective equalizer built-in too to pump the bass and treble and more.- Yeah, it's my favourite by a large margin. Lacks some display/layout features but it does everything else right.face_melter

i would never go back to iOS. All the Android customisation possibilities make it so much fun
- I'm still forced to use iOS because of its better music apps. It pains me every time. Android is far, far, far superior in every other way.set
- you're talking about apps to create music, right?Bennn
- Yes, and to record electric guitar.. amps, pedals, effects etc. There's no comparison on android unfortunately.set
