hey everyone,
I've spent the last few days cleaning up my portfolio for the spring. Since September I've been busy revamping my universities' website and moving them over to Wordpress and I'm finally ready to take on some new projects elsewhere.Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Not sure the "please hire me" is such a good idea.

• The "I'm actively seeking work. Please hire me!" makes you sound desperate and needy.
• The photo background and grey background behind that do not fill the entire screen.
• The color palette that you have chosen is not aesthetically pleasing to look at.

• Use of yellow to highlight things is very 37 Signals circa 2005

Change your text from Verdana to Arial

Question for you? It appears that you have an infinity for the color pastel yellow based on your client work. Would you care to discuss, just curious...

the work is nice, the website looks like it wasn't done by a designer, but by an account person.... so much text, so much explanation....
I'd TOTALLY remove the "please hire me" text in the yellow, it won't attract clients you want, but may attract clients who want to hire you extra cheap....

remove the "will work for food" copy and everything else is just fine for a out of college designer.
