So the Chile trip got cancelled. We are going now going to Bolivia on September 8 for two weeks.
I'm planning to take my bike, I heard that the cycling scene there is pretty amazing.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated. xoxo

Is that cycling or mountain biking? The roads there are pretty rugged, so not sure if a cycle would handle them very well. Mountain biking on the other hand is pretty popular, you HAVE to ride the death road, was pretty amazing - you start right above the snowline, and finish pretty much in tropical jungle:http://www.youtube.com/wa...
Also highly recommend flying to Rurranbaque, crazy little town in the Amazon Basin where you can go Anaconda hunting and Piranha fishing!

Potosi is pretty cool. You can buy sticks of dynamite on the street and then go into the mine and blow stuff up.

TIAHUANACO ( TIWANAKU)
Tiahuanacu (also called Tiwanaku) is a mystery because of its age (estimated to be 17,000 years) and the peculiar stone technology. Today there is little doubt that Tiahuanaco was a major sacred ceremonial centre and focal point of a culture that spread across much of the region. The ancient people built a stone pyramid known as the Akapana- i've been here. lived in la paz for about a year.acedeuce
