I've had good luck with Sandisk "Insert Hyperbolic Adjective here"
The only fail I ever had with sandisk was my own fault.
I did have a couple of off-brand ones die, and one LEXAR

Supposedly there's a tendency for Lexar cards to have issues with Nikon Cameras, but supposedly ok with Canon,etc... but this may be in the past....

The higher the class the faster it will be to save images to the card. I have splashed out on quality and these are fantastic BUT expensive.

i've got a kingston from college that's 8 years old that i still use. 128 mb. even did some diving and left it in my pocket ... it's cleared 25 feet on a free-dive and still works. but i've got a newer kingson that i dropped once and quite working... best of luck.

Extreme 3 are the best I've used. Just a 4GB. I have a Hama class 10 which seems slower than the class6 Sandisk.
Reformatting [in camera] after each upload is essential.

thanks for the info peeps.
The Kingston card I got was Class 10 and wasn't cheap. A collegue of mine used the camera (Panasonic AG-HMC151) to do some interviews. Checked the footage on the camera, but then when we put the card in the reader...it wouldn't even recognice the card! Sent it back to them...they said it was faulty and replaced it! the same happened again, but this time for something far more important! bloody frustrating!!! At what point should they become responsible for the work lost!!!
- argh! Not sure if you can get your card back, but see below....vaxorcist

I have Sandisk Extreme I, III, IV and Ultra and Ultra II. No failures, yet.
People say Hoodman cards are the most reliable, but I've never used one. http://www.hoodmanusa.com/produc…
