Xavi Bou’s starlings leaving a pre-roost assembly tree in winter Catalonia. Truly one of the greatest bird photos I’ve ever seen - scientifically and artistically. Read a bit about in

Apparently there’s some interest in moss growth on QBN.
http://www.qbn.com/reply/3780195…I’ve started collecting moss from the forest and street in the last 6 months. I have yet to make it grow (expand in the garden outdoors), I’ve been focused on keeping it alive outdoors and indoors so far. My plan is to make a moss/rock outdoors and an indoor vivarium type setup.
For those interested in the basics there are two types of moss: acrocarps & pleurocarps.
Pleurocarps grow in short lateral branches, they grow faster and can stand moisture better. So these are the best to begin with.
Acrocarps grow upright, take more time to grow and need some dry spells after some months of regular moisture.
Moss need sunlight to metabolize so you should only water them during the day. They aren’t hard to maintain, they just need a lot of time to grow.
