Lived there for 20+ years loved it. Loads of amazing things. Big arts community there. Uptown is definitely a cool place to live but hipster central.
Im moving back from Toronto for a month to visit family and then its off to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore for me. :)

It's a cool city. Alot of smart, educated people within the greater metro area. Design talent is super strong. Agency work is so-so.

I lived there for 5 years but recently moved to Chicago 5 months ago.
Apartments are reasonably priced there. I was living in a really nice studio for $625/mo (utilities included) right by the Art Institute (kind of in between uptown and downtown). City has lots of Greenways, parks, lakes, coffee shops, and art culture. It's really not that big. A handful of cozy neighborhoods. I'm kind of missing it now.
Do you know where you'll be working?

Its been a LONG winter here so take anything anyone says with a dumptruck full of salt (3rd most snow ever i think?) Anyways, economy is turning around fairly quickly and lifestyle is laid back niceness. Summers are the shit. Winters aren't.

Anyone working/living there?
I have a possible job and am wondering about the lifestyle economy there?
