- I thought it was bad. good premise but the cinematography and writing were dogshit.cannonball1978
- I thought it was on par for a Spike Lee "joint". But thought he was trying to make a Tarantino movie.
One thing that really bugged me was at the end credits...fooler - they didn't use and spaces after the comas in the name and state or date and year.fooler
- I liked it, it's a pretty typical Spike Lee film if you ask me. It's preachy, but still feels personal.zarkonite
- I've been trying for a while with his films. I like all the historic referential stuff but the 'style' of filmmaking is quite clumsy to meDaveO
- I thought it was pretty great to be honest but BlacKkKlansman was way better.CyBrainX

I remember following this case a couple years back
- Watched it, monstrous.helloeatbreathedrive
- It was so strange how compassionate the Detective and Polygraph Tech were to him AFTER he admitted it "aww its gonna be ok" pat on back?!?freakpelican
- ^They still needed to know where the bodies were. Hence the nice guys routine. As soon as he fessed up completely that stopped.Hayzilla

This is probably the best movie I've seen in years. Though, I do love me some Sorkin and this is him at his best.. so if you don't, well, it may not suit you..
- Yeeees. Also one of the best movies about poker, up there with Rounders.Ramanisky2
- Seen it like 4-5 times already, it's top!grafician
- Top notch acting and story! 10/10helloeatbreathedrive
- This movie has a bizarre amount of cleavage on screen. Anyone else notice this?nb

- This one freaked my wife out. She deleted a whole bunch of stuff). I'm generally anti-social so not much for me to change.sausages
- I type q or f almost without thought when I tap in to the browser bar while aimlessly surfing. I’m sickjtb26
- I ended up downloading killi which pays you to go about your normal daily browsing on chrome, then they sell the data to google and you get a cut_niko
- isnt that like using windows explorerdeathboy
- or is it edge... whatever its called, i find it best for image searchs due to bing. i could just type b in my other browsers but eh give comp a chancedeathboy

- This show just makes me feel like an old fart.fyoucher1
- Really had a blast watching both seasons. Although I will say that last episode was a bit dark in tone compared the entire series.Ramanisky2
- Season 1 was pretty good. Season 2 had way too much Larusso. His arc just isn't interesting.DRIFTMONKEY
- Loved it! Very high school teen angst, almost feels like I'm watching a kids show but I was hookedProjectile

- ep1 was so infuriating.Al_dizzle

Finished watching The Umbrella Academy last night ... that show should have been way, way, way more awesome than it was.
Conceptually, it could have been a lot of fun. But, wow ... most of the cast have no chemistry together. Zero. Nul. the only ones I found more or less fun/compelling on-screen were the kid who plays Five, the one who plays Klaus, and the guy who plays Diego.
And I'm really disappointed with Ellen Page* in this; normally, she's really great to watch, but here it's like she was terminally bored. No presence to speak of, just phoned her performance in.
And the whole Diego trying to prevent Kennedy from getting assassinated thing in S02 didn't have a leg to stand on. All Five had to do in the first episode or two of the season was tell him that if Kennedy didn't die, the timeline would get fucked up; especially since Five saw the front page of a newspaper showing that Kennedy declared war on the Soviets.
This whole thing reminds me of Heroes, actually. Pretty decent first season, then a whole shitload of wasted potential.
*Fun fact: Ellen Page is from Halifax, Canada — where I started my career in the early noughties — and her dad ran an agency there, and I freelanced for him.
- Is that not part of her and her character here's schtick though? I felt she was good in 1st series - haven't watched much of 2nd so far.Nairn
- I was thinking that it was supposed to be part of her thing, that she was numb on the meds ... but it really came off as her wishing she was anywhere ...Continuity
- ... but on that show.Continuity
- I COMPLETELY disagree. This show kicks so much ass it's ridiculous. You're thinking way too much.fyoucher1
- Easy, fella. I'm not saying I hate it. I'm just saying it could use a few improvements.Continuity
- The characters are exteremly dumb that it becomes frustrating to watch, Esp. 1st season.Beeswax
- Yeah, there's not a lot of common sense between them, is there?Continuity

- Great series. Great stories.
Brought back a ton of memories.Bluejam - Can’t believe that it wasn’t until I was 21 yrs old that I had played an FPS game. My sons (10 & 12) were shocked.Bluejam
- fun watch! hope they do a season 2 and dive in deeper.inteliboy
- Yup, this was a fun, fun show.Continuity

Just started Altered Carbon - some sublime sci-fi right there.
- Yup, although the first series borrows perhaps way too much from Gibson's Neuromancer.Continuity
- I enjoyed it as well.bezoar
- It is so so so bad and b-grade. But I love it.inteliboy
- Projectile3
SO GOOD! One episode left.. but it's funny, sexy, thrilling and soulful!

- One of the few shows I actually enjoy; feels like a good mix of drama, humor, visuals, audio, etc.ideaist

- Just finished Season 2. Better than Season 1. Entertaining enough.lemmy_k
- didn't particularly care for Season 2. just felt typical character development arc. It was fine and well timed but that was about it.MrAbominable

Absolutely loving this series. Jordan was my hero growing up and it's surreal to see him and the team in this light.
- One of the best of 2020Ramanisky2
- I watched a few episodes and had the "I don't want to see how much of an asshole my hero is" moments. Incredibly immersive, though.ideaist
- Yeah, and that's a subject they dive into more, and his teammates and other insiders attribute this to his mentality and ultimately to their dominance.SteveJobs
- His natural talent, passion, and hard work made him god-like, but he had to push everyone on his team to be better as his greatness alone wasn't enough to win.SteveJobs
- I loved how he could take motivation from anyone or anything. The slightest provocation from another player getting MVP or talking trash to him.SteveJobs
- "Nice game, Mike."SteveJobs
- The “Nice game, Mike” line was that guy‘s undoing. But the best part was that he never said it. Mike was just pumping himself up for the next game.Ramanisky2
- Haha yeah, that had me rolling. Lot's of good moments - and very well orchestrated through the story telling too.SteveJobs
- And not gonna lie I teared up a little when he was sobbing on the floor after their finals victory in his dad's absence. Definitely felt for him on that oneSteveJobs
