yes, i've been wanting to make my studio out of these for a while... if you diy it's pretty cost effective. if you get architects involved it's eye watering. hoping for some middle way...

Used containers ARE cheap, but the modifications won't be. Interior height is ~7ft on insulated versions, so you'd need to figure a way to extend the height, which likely means a lot of welding and metal work.
2x4's and galvalum would be a lot more economical, and give you the same look.

Those are rad. Never seen one in person but lots of great resources online. Would love to know how sound / heat insulation is.
