hey everyone,
I'm considering building a platform for people to post work and get feedback from other members. (also made one about 10 years ago called NowGoCreate)
My question is, what do you use to show your work?
- Blog (word*press/tum*blr/etc)
- Your own portfolio
- car*go coll*ect*ive
- C*pluv
- Be*hance
- Dev*iantArt :-/(* not allowed to use these words for some reason?)
thanks!

Mike, an interesting thing would be less of a portfolio showcase and more an overall categorization of people's work into fields like typography, graphics, photography, illustration, webdesign etc.

the idea would be to provide a stepping stone before he/she gets a portfolio site. aimed at young designers, before they have had any jobs... to capture some of the essence that a critique provides in art/design school.
becoming comfortable with sharing work and accepting criticism can be a difficult process for self-conscious juniors.

Aren't there at least a handful of sites just like this? Devianttart, Beehance, etc. If you're aiming for young designers in/fresh out of school, they already know about these sites.

i guess my point is that dev*iant art is bloated and ugly, and be*hance is littered with ads.
hopefully there'd be something more lightweight (like car*go) but with community aspects...
- like what? there's a whole world of carg0 communitiesdoesnotexist
