Just wanted to shamelessly plug our new motion graphics experiment!!
It's a mtv ident in 2 versions.

No2:We weren't hired by mtv. It's just a showcase of what we can't do in case they want to hire us! :)

i like the look of it. the little shapes bouncing around on the first cut, around sec 18 and 19 look a little too mechanical - seems like that part should show them landing and bouncing a bit more randomly.

Well its def a good example on how to use Mograph dynamics.
I liked the first one more.

I like what you've done a lot. I think the second one is more fitting to MTV because of the pace and twitchy movements. The first one is kinda mellow for them.

Mtv ident 1 [cut 1] i much prefer.
dont like the jerkiness to no 2, it doesnt bring anything to the animation.

also, just while im looking at your vimeo, you have your top 3 vids, which look great and professional, but some of the other vids dont look anywhere near as good (eg 'new home' and 'honey im home').
not hating at all, i love that something out of nothing, just letting you know my opinion :)

Glad you're being honest but my vimeo account is a collection of all sorts of silly things!! The new home one was just me putting a camera while I was painting my new house. (no it's not mine I'm renting...)
Same thing for the honey I'm home and the other one with the moon.
I need to create a new account to separate the random everyday videos from the serious ones! I think might do that like right now!!
