What is your definition of a 'love job'? Something you like doing for fun? Charity? Personal project?

Most of what I do are love jobs. That's what keeps me smiling.

The works i love are unpaid ones, on most times: personal Illu work, drawings for my daugthers-wife, paintings for friends...
But, time by time, there are some "pearls" to work on in the office, that emerges from the "shit-jobs sea" of day by day work... with real "creation-skills" in need

for most of my career, music–related, so would be a trade off of design work for little pay or a barter of records... nowadays, there's really no such thing other than helping a mate out but under the pretense that "this is what you get and what you get will end up in my folio in order for me to get more jobs like this that actually pay decently"

I don't think it's that much of a laugh really, but semantically speaking, possibly not the right terminology...
the older we get, the more valuable our time, so when working for anyone other than ourselves, the worth we accrue has to increase, whether that worth be monetary or otherwise.. what seeessess posted, to me is a hobby and not a "... job" of any type but there's no less value in it and the reward probably, 10 fold...
personally, I enjoy taking what I know and helping mates out with said experience, but for the most part it's really only steering and advising, if I have to work (design) past the hours of my 10 – 12 hour a day job, then I have to get paid... the only true "love job" I entertain anymore is enjoying the free time I have at my disposal...
- but if you're young and have the time/energy then do whatever comes your way that you believe in..neue75_bold
- wise words...although every client seems to believe that all jobs should be 'love' and occupy far more time than accounted forbabaganush
