Played the beta on PS3 last night for a few hours. Graphics, controls, and gameplay are all very cool. The beta map is also very cool, above ground moves to underground, thought the subway portion gets a little crazy. The Squad spawning is a nice deal, actually helps you cut out a lot of the run time in the game. The actual motions and effects bring the game to a new level. There is no painful loading between rounds, and getting online was a breeze. The menu system is also fairly cool and simple. Took me a moment to figure out the gameplay style and off I was frag'n and bag'n. It is just simply all wicked.
Overall, I am highly excited to get the full game on release day.

I would like to make one more addition ... Friend/Foe is completely confusing. Each side looks alike, by the time you look at the map and confirm foe, *boom *boom, you are gone. Also if you shoot at a friendly they react as being shot, so that adds to the mess. Thank goodness for the no-ff.
That is probably the worst draw back of the game currently.

Why must you choose? BF3 is a more team-oriented game. MW3 is a fun run and gun, kill all the things game. I usually play MW2 without my headset.

The beta is public now, played it for the last hour or so. I've never been much into gaming but really got into BF2 and was quite excited about playing this today lol
It's good. Love that you can lie down now, something BF2 missed out, and rest your gun on the floor with the tripod. You can even crouch and rest your gun on low walls and rocks too, it's great.
Graphics are nice and gameplay is much like BF2 which is a good thing. Finding it a bit annoying right now as you have to work your way up through guns and gadgets again and I'm so used to having a 4x scope.
Good stuff though.
