A great resource that's full of inspirational stuff. Seeing 'fonts in use' is the best way of knowing how they work and look.

Fonts are great

nice idea and will be interesting to see this evolve and ideally showcase more than the obvious/commonly used... at first glance, at least it's better than the Fontshop newsletters that showcase what's hot in script typefaces and general whimsical americana trite..

this has a great start! I hope it continues.

Great idea but not sure how resourceful it would actually be. Like after just seeing it now, i don't know when i would need to go back.
- I disagree. I think this is a good site for design references. But thanks for sharing...SeriousFreelancing

if it keeps updating I would keep checking it

'This blog is a prologue of more to come. Behind the scenes, we’re building a searchable, sharable archive of typographic design, indexed by typeface, industry, and medium. And you’re invited to join us. Stay tuned.'
Sounds like it'll be worth checking as it grows.

Glad you guys like it. Yes it is frequently updated. At least twice a week.
WeLoveNoise — I'd love to hear why it's not worth your time. It's a work in progress and we gladly accept criticism.
- dont think "not worth my time" was said. i've yet to see what would make me use it regularlyWeLoveNoise

1. Since i visited yesterday the site hasn't been updated so i agree with what Joseprieto said, if it kept updating as quickly as a design blog then it might be something i would revisit regularly.
2. Generally when i want to see a font in use, i will have seen it already from blogs and ffffound. Or i will just go to myFonts and we how it looks on screen.
Like i say, its a lovely idea, just not sure if i would find it useful personally

I'm just wondering how the navigation will evolve as you add more fonts. That list is going to get unwieldy very quickly.

I dig it. Nice work, Stephen. You've already sucked me into some of the commentary. ;)

it will be great to have links to myfonts.com to buy the fonts
- We have links to all fonts, but that requires looking at the text of the articles (nudge). Links will be included on listing pages soon.Typographica
