Nice 3d camera work in there.

Thanks Leigh. I've done some work in 3D programs (cinema 4D) but the rendering kills me, so I like to explore in AE

Have you thought about having one soundtrack for the whole reel?
the tracks kinda clash which makes the whole reel lose it's pace a little.

- the ball farting between cuts is a nice segue though.reinitialize

Good point! Exactly why I wanted to showcase here. I wanted to design audio for the whole reel, but really liked the way Kung Fu Hustle fit...

a couple things.
i don't think i'm really digging your choice of soundtrack(s). like leigh said above, i think i'd stick to one and definitely lose the kung fu hustle track. that track almost paints your work in a comical light.
i'd also work on your copy editing. some of the sentences are a bit off. and read much like i'm writing now.
nice work though!

i would honestly just remove as much copy as possible from your reel. if you're putting a reel together, it's to highlight your best work, not highlight your explanation of your work. along with that, i agree with everybody who suggests you try using a different music option, and limiting it to one track.
along with that, the line between watching your reel, and watching a video in your reel is blurred (if that makes any sense). the swarm of spheres making their way into all of your work is kind of offputting—was that all one project? were the spheres some graphic element in your reel, but they appeared on top of several projects? usually reels have pretty clearly comprehensible cuts from project to project, and i didn't see that so much here.

I put this together to get more work and showcase my ability to inc. my graphic design skill set into motion. I was making up some content as I went along with some concepts I created. I put together another demo reel in 2007 and this was somewhat the evolution. I will upload that too. Thx mcmillons!

i have no experience here, but i liked it (i cant hear, so no comment on the sound track) - the only thing that stood out as something i didnt like was the little sphere that kept showing up from time to time.
- alemundo0
I guess my 2007 demo reel sheds a little more light on the sphere. I'm uploading that now. Thx bjladams
- Clients will probably look at your latest work only. I think it's a mistake to link them together with a storykalkal

Yeh, what mcmillions said, get rid of the copy. Some of the 3D copy animations don't really fit in too, I'd get rid of those as well. Best to just show the visuals. I like you how you go from green screened footage to the actual comp. I don't mind the audio, just keep it to one track though.

also: definitely lose the farts
- whitewolf0
all the disclaimers in there kill it. :(
i prefer this:

Ha, yes! I was wondering if anyone would say something about the flatulence. While I was creating this, there was a part of me that wanted to add some personal touches. I'm a silly person. I don't have many motion examples to show, but I've been a graphic designer for over 10 years(www.alemanarts.com) so I was creating as I went. I have reserved this showcase for QBN so I can get the proper feed back which you have properly provided. thx!
- the ball shouldn't move backwards when it farts. looks odd.fugged

P.S.
I know my personal life is irrelevant to business, but I live, eat and breathe my work. Sometimes it creeps in.

If you are interested, this is how the sphere came into play:

Your showreel is too slow and that ball thing that keeps going through shot is pretty awful.
I'm not big fan of showing green screen comping in a showreel, but if you are going to do it, perhaps animated the different processes you used to get your final outcome, maybe with masked wipes.
Finally the orange crush stuff is not good enough for your reel.Hope that helps.
