my friend lived out in Sevilla for a couple years. first he went to school to learn spanish and then got a job teaching English. it was a pretty cool set up, i hung out at his place for about a month.

hmmmm
you probably don't speak catalan and you will struggle to understand the local culture. oh, a there's a lot of unemployment.
while i reckon you'll be fine teaching english as a native speaker, i must say that it will be very difficult for you to land a job as designer/creative.
however, who am i to say a thing?
food is good, weather is ok, culture is rather good, party is great.
you even have a decent beach nearby... so why not?
