- I agree, Bolt is truly horrible. Had to use it loads when I was freeelancing at Pepe Jeans way back in 1994.Orbit
- I used to have to remind myself, almost mantra-like, that it was okay, because I was getting paid to use it.Orbit

QType it is. Why didn't WhatTheFont find that match?
Anyway, yes it's horrible but what can you do when you need to vectorise a logo like this and live trace doesn't cut it?Thanks zshed

This always amazes me about the modern world of graphic design... if you can't have something done by an automated process you have to go and buy the font.
Look at that logo, look at it. Its a fuck ugly piece of shit, but more to the point, its made of the most irritatingly basic right angled lines with 90º corners and one single solitary radius.
I could *vectorise* this logo in about five minutes flat just working from the best pixel example you have and it would be so accurate the client would not distinguish it from their own artwork.
Forget about *vectorising* it and buying the font, and just have a bit more faith in your ability to knock it up in illustrator.
Its like a child's dot-to-dot puzzle, only much much simpler.

that's pretty much what I'm doing only. I'd challenge you to do it in 5mins though.
- 5min? just wand it out in photoshop, otherwise tell them it will take longeronomontopeka
