Wii Fit vs. Kinect

Yes, I'm a lazy designer who doesn't have enough time in the day to hit the gym. I still have my membership but it rarely gets used. I have an XBOX 360 and I'm thinking of picking up a Kinect with one of those exercise games. But for almost the same price I could pick up a Wii and Wii Fit. Any thoughts?

Definitely the kinect.
I'd actually say you don't really need to get fitness games to get a decent workout with it either.
I quite easily played on my brothers for 40 minutes kinect adventures and didn't really realize how sweaty I was getting just playing the simple games on that.

kinect - my fiance and I don't have a workout game - but everything you do with that thing builds a sweat

everyone i know that has the Kinect is very happy with it, i have the balance board and it is collecting dust, it was fun for about 2 weeks

True that, everytime I use the Kinect I'm busting a sweat. WiiFit can have its pluses, like it becoming my scale.

Yeah, I got the eating better thing down...just trying to add a little more cardio to my routine since there's no way in hell I'm taking aerobics classes in public. I'd much rather do it in my living room. Sounds like Kinect is the way to go.

There are legit reasons for this. When you mix an environment with kids and adults, have video chat etc... well you can imagine the need for law enforcement to be allowed access. This way I assume MS can more easily cooperate if need be. Not everything is about people wanting to spy on your naked dance moves.

I played my friends 7 year old daughter in kinect boxing 3 times in a row, She beat me 2 out the the three times and the next day my lats were sore.

Bought My mom an xbox with Kinect for Christmas. Got her the "Your Shape™: Fitness Evolved" from Ubisoft as it is rated the best. They even have Men's health and Women's health workouts on the disc.
