is there any way to prevent these tiny annoying shapes (note example is enlarged)?
Everytime I livetrace a drawing, tons of these are in it. I want more variation.

just keep tweaking the setting,live trace is a trial and error.

Increase minimum size and lower angles to a fraction. Higher resolution or smoothing might help too. Later.

I think manual trace is the best solution for this one. Live trace is plain shitty for precise vector work. Build it with two vector points like below.
- He doesn't want that shape which is usually the result of tracing a low res dot or line fragmentmonospaced
